That was side-stepping the question, really. There aren't a lot of things I would consider to be mistakes within my previous relationships. I shouldn't have waited so long to break up with my first boyfriend, but it wasn't for lack of trying. I shouldn't have fallen in love with the second - but I was 19. That's not a mistake, that's a learning experience. For the most part, though, my exes are great guys - which is why I'm still friends with all of them - and the things that went wrong weren't really mistakes, just life happening.
I've made some remarkably bad choices and taken dubious actions with the ones I didn't date, though.
