Drive took me only about 6.5 hours on Wednesday, including stops. Traffic was heavy, but still moving, and the weather was more of a factor in the speed. I skipped Connecticut altogether.
Apparently my dad has discovered Terry Pratchett, and has asked for some for Christmas. I shouldn't be surprised, given that British humour is his major hobby at present.
I finally got my brother to try watching the pilot of Firefly. Then he watched another episode, and a third. Then he got up early and watched the second DVD. *grin* Another convert.
