Last night I took some (personal) work with me to the laundromat. It's usually a good place to get things done, since I have nothing else to entertain me. I didn't get nearly as much accomplished as I'd hoped, because I kept getting distracted by the fairly loud meeting of the support group for professional women in their early thirties with overactive bladders.

To quote Dave Barry, I Am Not Making This Up. I thought surely I was mishearing them, until I read the back of the brochure one of them had brought from her doctor to show the others. It's not the existence of the support group that surprises me, it's that they chose to have their meeting at the laundromat.

You'd think, under the circumstances, that they would have picked a business with a bathroom.
