Jul. 6th, 2010 09:23 pmOur power went out abruptly. It appears to be the whole block, although we can see lights in houses beyond our block. I'm using battery and stealing wireless from someone far enough away to still have power. John's phone is broken. My phone is almost out of power (I was going to charge it tonight).
Oh, and it's hot as hell outside, so it's really going to suck if it doesn't come back soon.
And I can't go anywhere else, because my car's in the garage. *pout*
ETA: Half an hour later, thanks to the Madison Electric Department having a big truck and a big stick with which to push the reset button -- yes, really -- life is good again.
