I suddenly have a clearer understanding of the desire for Tivo. Or at least for taping my favorite shows even when I'm watching them.

There was an absolutely wonderful line from tonight's House MD. And I didn't write it down immediately, and I can't do it word-for-word from memory. It wasn't House that said it, and I don't know that it will have been quite so meaningful to the average viewer, so I have no idea if I'm going to be able to find it on quote boards anywhere.

$12 a month for service, and you can turn it off at anytime.
