(no subject)

I think I need a vacation. To someplace warm, and sunny, and peaceful. A tropical island sounds good. I could laze in a hammock in the sunshine, listening to the ocean.

No telephones, no Internet, no responsibilities, no stress. Doesn't it sound nice?

Of course, I'd be stir-crazy after about a day and a half.

The Rookery

I've been joking for a couple of years that I should call my collection of stuffed penguins The Rookery, especially as their number keeps increasing. After receiving two more for Christmas, I decided it was time to pull them all out and see how many there really are.

It appears there are only 11, although it seems like more. ( Picture behind the cut )

I note for the record that as far as I can recall, I have not purchased any of them for myself, and the only one I requested is the big one in the back that my mom made for me when I was a kid.
